Guest Wing Accommodation

Mussel Bed offers three guest wing suites:

• Mussel Bed's Gourmet Breakfast! Full continental & cooked breakfast - our menus are created daily and focus on food grown on the Coromandel (free range eggs, honey and our own homegrown fruit & veges).
• We bring breakfast to you on a tray to enjoy in the garden - try our delicious homemade granola and homebaked bread, yoghurt drizzled with honey, fresh fruit compote, irresistible pastries and maybe muffins to take on your picnic! New to our breakfast menu this year is our "daily hot dish" e.g. Bacon & Cheese Soufflés, Oaty Pancakes with maple syrup & NZ blueberries, Porridge with banana & maple syrup, Scrambled egg & salmon on a toasted muffin to give you a hint of what's to come!
• All have lovely views overlooking subtropical gardens, a tranquil stream and native bush - Cooks Beach and its white sandy beach only a 5 min walk away.
• Tastefully furnished, warm & relaxing
• One room offers twin beds (Beachhut Suite) and has space for up to 4 people with a queensize bed and ensuite bathroom downstairs & 2 single beds on an open mezzanine floor above. Perfect for friends travelling together, a small family group (restricted to children over 7 years of age). Please note that our cottage is suitable for children of all ages.
• Three rooms have queen beds. All 3 suites are side by side in our guest wing (Victorian, Beachhut and Pacifica Suites) and have a queensize bed and ensuite bathroom - perfect for 2 or 3 couples travelling together.
• All have their own ensuite bathroom with wet shower, fully tiled and modern fittings
• Toiletries, hairdryer, Robes, Heated Towel Rails, fresh flowers & fruit bowl, beach towels & homebaking to tempt you everyday
• French doors open to private patio areas for outdoor dining
